Just as you catch your breath from another batch of Montreal International Jazz Festival concert announcements, the festival organizers – always eager to keep the momentum going -  hit you with a new one and a batch of off-season shows.

Pink Martini will perform at the festival June 27, bringing their lounge favourites to Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier of Place des Arts. Tickets cost $43.50, $53.93 and $67.84.

The concerts announced for the Jazz à l’année series are Los Amigos Invisibles (Club Soda, April 10, $22.62), Jill Barber (seated show at Metropolis, May 2, $30.44) and Terez Montcalm (L’Astral, May 16, $28.70).

Tickets go on sale Feb. 14 at noon, except in the case of the Los Amigos Invisibles show, for which tickets are already available.

In other concert news, Ian Anderson will perform a double helping of Thick as a Brick – the original 1971 Jethro Tull classic and the excellent sequel from last year – at Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier of Place des Arts Oct. 15. Tickets, priced from $66.25 to $86.25, go on sale Feb. 16 at noon. Phone 514-842-2112 or go to pda.qc.ca.
